Day 3 - Check-in with a friend and do 10 push-ups - February Fitness Challenge

Hello everyone, Day 3 here.


Today I've challenged you to ask a friend how they are doing and LISTEN to their response. I added that second part because, all too often, we tend to ask only to respond. This is about them. It's not a moment to spout off on your day or air your emotional laundry, it's to offer an open ear and open heart to find out how they truly are.


We've all been affected by this pandemic, in one way or another, and this is a great reminder to check-in.


For our Fitness Focus:


Complete 10 push-ups. These can be at any incline necessary to do 10 with no rest. The higher the incline, the easier each repetition. In the video posted below I overview proper form and the multiple levels these tricep-pushups can be completed at. Choose something challenging enough to push through but easy enough to finish strong and in good form.

  • Core braced.

  • Whole-body active.

  • Full Range of Motion.

  • Use your breath.
